Garuda Indonesia Crash! Blamed on Broken Tire?

A Garuda Indonesia plane, which flies from Jakarta to Jogjakarta burst into flames at 7.00 a.m. on March 7, a few minutes after landing at Adisucipto Airport, Jogjakarta.

There were 133 passengers onboard (120 people in economy and 13 in business class) and seven aircrew. According to some sources and witnesses, tens of them were burnt near the cockpit of the Boeing 737-400. Three hours after the incident, the airport officers were still spraying water into the airplane’s body to reduce the heat and enable them to remove the dead from inside the aircraft.

Airplane is Still Missing!

An Indonesian airplane which crashed late on Monday is still missing. Previous information from authorities saying that the plane had crashed in the mountains of West Sulawesi province and that there had been 12 survivors, was absolutely wrong, and the search for the missing plane continues today.

It took 12 hours for the authorities to publicly correct that information.

Airplane Crashed. It’s Miracle 12 People Onboard Survive!

Adam Air, Indonesia’s low cost airline which flies from Surabaya to Manado, crashed late Monday and after more than 20 hours missing, has been found in the mountains of Polewali Mandar regency, South Sulawesi province. It was reported that the plane hit the mountain in bad weather. There were 96 passengers — among them are 85 adults, seven children, and four babies, as well as a pilot and a copilot, and four crews members. Three foreigners were on board Flight KI 574 but there are no detailed reports as to whether they died or not.
